Starcom UK and Channel 4 have released the final videos in their six-part series, focusing on age and ethnicity.

Entitled Brave Stories, the series was launched in September 2021 with a focus on people from marginalised communities speaking about their experiences working in media.

In episode five, Francis Cheang, agency investment lead at Channel 4, interviewed Curtis Weir, out of home group director at Publicis Media. Weir discussed his experience as a black British man in the industry, as well as his experience with dyslexia.

In episode six, Katrin Schlenzka, managing partner in Starcom’s PGOne team – the dedicated client team for P&G – interviewed Clare Peters, Channel 4’s deputy head of clients. Peters discussed ageism and how she does not see many people over the age of 45 in the industry.
