Starcom, the human experience company, has promoted Claire Kula to Managing Partner.
In the position, Claire is responsible for leading client strategy across clients such as Lidl, AXA, Alcon and Novartis in the UK.
She will continue to oversee a team of communication planners, as well as the broader team of product and activation specialists to deliver exceptional client understanding, idea generation, and best in class media planning and activation for these accounts. She will also develop accelerator projects to help sustain and win future clients.
Claire reports into Starcom UK’s Managing Director, Nadine Young, who came into the role in June, joining CEO Mark Howley at the helm. With this promotion, Claire strengthens an already robust leadership team, with Isabelle Baas revolutionising the data agenda, Dan Plant leading strategy and Paul Kasamias driving performance results for clients.
Supporting other working parents to thrive in this industry is a subject close to Claire’s heart. Claire is part of a community championing Starcom’s ‘Becoming’ initiative which helps rebuild confidence for new and returning parents at work.
Claire Kula, Managing Partner, Starcom UK said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed to Managing Partner. I look forward to redefining the way we drive value and new commercial solutions for our clients. Having had two beautiful babies during my time with the company, I think I’m a great example of Starcom supporting and promoting parents into key leadership positions. I certainly have not been held back by having a young family, working a four-day week and I’m very excited for what this year will hold.“
Nadine Young, Managing Director, Starcom UK said: “Claire is a key member of the leadership team. Her passion and enthusiasm for digital and her strategic leadership skills have been crucial to us and our clients. This promotion is most deserved and we are certainly looking forward to seeing Starcom thrive with Claire on board this year.”
