John Sheehy is the Global Brand President for Starcom Worldwide.
Previously, he served as the President of Publicis Media’s Global Client practice, driving the top 50 clients via talent, performance and product acceleration.
John began his career at Leo Burnett in Chicago, and then dedicated the next 20 years to honing his true skill for client service. In 2011, he joined Starcom Mediavest Group as the President of Global Operations, where he oversaw top client accounts and traveled the world driving growth across our emerging and core markets.
As CEO of Starcom USA, Kathy Ring is responsible for driving a next-generation media agency focused on the convergence of media, technology and creativity—enabling the design of unique human experiences in the one-to-one era of marketing, at scale.
In her role as US CEO, Kathy oversees some of the world’s leading marketers and new establishment brands, including Airbnb, Allstate, Bank of America, Kellogg’s, Kraft Heinz, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Samsung, Visa and more. Kathy has been with Starcom USA for over 30 years. Previously, Kathy served as President of Starcom USA where she led the agency’s LA operation, having moved there in 2002 from Chicago to establish the newly formed office.
Christine joined Starcom 12 years ago to run the Procter & Gamble AOR and never looked back. She has had increasingly senior responsibilities, most recently serving as EVP, Managing Director, juggling both Client Services and Business Development for Starcom and Spark Foundry Canada. Christine was an integral part of the Management team under Alastair Taylor that saw tremendous double digital organic and new growth the last 2 years. Prior to joining the Publicis family, Christine worked at a number of different holding companies as a Business lead, leading teams across strategy and activation across many industries, including packaged goods, auto and retail.
Gabriela Vargas is the new General Manager for Starcom. She will be in charge of leading Starcom’s strategy, and will be responsible for driving Starcom to the next step, managing the relationships with clients , reinforcing a media agency where technology and the human experiences make the perfect match, with Data and Creativity. In her role she will oversee some of Mexico leader brands as P&G, Heineken, Bimbo, McDonald’s, Samsung, Visa and more. Previously she has been in the role of Business lead for P&G, during one year, where she was focused in reorganizing processes, giving the best service and meeting business goals. Gabriela has an experience of more than twenty years in Advertising and Media. Her first incursion in the media area was in Leo Burnett, leading different international clients and consolidating clients in New Business. She also was in Starcom in her career beginnings, and previous her return to Publicis Media, she was Business Lead in Carat, where she leaded important accounts, driving important business opportunities thanks to her strategic and innovative vision. She has experience in different advertising categories as Finance, Automotive, Entertainment, Technology, Pharma, working with brands as Banamex, Renault, BMW, Promeco, Aeromexico, Adidas, Nokia, Sony, GM among others. Under her leadership for GM, Carat was recognized Partner of the Year She has got a great expertise on Global Business, Strategy Consolidation and Digital Approach.
Nick is a leader who is cross-functionally trained across three key industries, working in Advertising, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) and Gaming.
He has a combined 21 years’ experience growing national brands and managing international projects and operations. These include running transformational project teams in multiple jurisdictions around the world, providing a technical skillset that includes a diverse background in business development, corporate strategy, deal advisory, operations, Technology, digital/traditional media marketing and finance.
Nick’s experience includes working in both PLCs and Private enterprises. He has led multi-million dollar eComm and CRM integrations, studying and applying methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and Kanban.
He is recognised by Boards for his authentic, upfront stakeholder management and collaborative style that motivates other team leads to grow the value of an organisation through collaboration.

Ching Ian Wee is CEO of Starcom China. She is responsible for leading key senior relationships with all major clients across China, driving business growth, diversifying revenue streams, and building on the strong brand identity for Starcom. Ching joined Publicis in 2002, serving various management positions in Singapore and Japan before moving to Shanghai and becoming managing director of Zenith in that market. Most recently, she was COO of PMX in APAC, where she was tasked with future proofing China’s second largest central media trading platform with direct management responsibility for new media negotiations, operations and a team of 250 specialists. Ching has a breadth of hands-on experience managing luxury, CPG, pharmaceutical and technology businesses and clients including Coca-Cola, Shanghai General Motors, China Mobile, Samsung and China Telecom.
Ian loon, managing director of Starcom Singapore, joined the agency as an intern 17 years ago. Over the past year, Ian served as a global founding member of Publicis Media’s Business Transformation practice – launching its consumer experience consulting and start-up engagement capabilities. In the last eight years at Starcom, he integrated specialist capabilities within business teams while assembling new service practices across the region – including the agency’s content and social practice with P&G as its inaugural client and co-owning the agency’s client-pivoting approach towards data and programmatic. He has also led the agency’s largest business (Samsung) across Southeast Asia, Oceania and Taiwan. In 2013, he was honoured twice as “Media Person of the Year” at the Singapore Media Awards and “Southeast Asia Account Person of the Year” by Campaign Asia.
Jon has a marketing degree in International Business and Leadership from Norway´s leading Business school. He joined Starcom in 2006 as a digital planner and worked his way up the ladder. Jon has been one of the key contributors to Starcom Norways development over the past 13 years. Previous work experience includes event marketing and sales. His focus is always on delivering high quality work, developing our products and our business to be able to deliver better solutions for our clients to drive growth. During his time at Starcom he has been in charge of several of the agency’s largest client relationships, including leading Norway’s biggest single advertiser. He holds several industry awards for his work with clients, both national and international.
Paul Boulange is the CEO of Starcom France and brings more than 17 years of strategic marketing leadership experience to the role. Prior to being named Starcom France’s CEO in 2018, Paul served as Managing Director where he was responsible for leading two of the office’s key clients: Coca-Cola and Samsung. An agency veteran, Paul was previously Digital Manager at Havas Worldwide Paris from 2013 -2015 where he led EDF, Veolia and Paypal EMEA accounts. Before then, he served in a key leadership role at DDB Paris where he set up McDonald's digital e-commerce strategy and data platform for France and Southern Europe. Paul began his career as a marketing consultant specializing in telecommunications and spent six years at FullSix, where he worked on French and international clients such as Renault, Nokia, SNCF, TF1 and SFR. Paul also served as Head of Digital Academy for leading global insurer AXA.
Kate is the Managing Director of Starcom South Africa. A client-centric leader with a flair for people and process, Kate partners closely with Starcom Africa’s account teams to elevate the agency’s work product for clients, ensuring sound strategy, strong business outcomes and data-led insights. She is also responsible for Starcom South Africa’s daily operations across the business with a strong focus on client satisfaction, growth, culture and talent engagement. With more than 18 years of experience, Kate has worked across many brand categories and clients, including NIVEA, Samsung, Mondelez, GSK, Cartier, AVON and more. Prior to becoming Managing Director of Starcom South Africa, Kate was previously Head of Strategy for Publicis Media, and prior to that, Business Unit Director at Zenith. Prior to joining Publicis Groupe, Kate held positions at INCO Labs, TBWA and OMD.
Rita joined Starcom in 2008 to lead and strengthen Starcom Barcelona’s presence, successfully managing teams and clients including Puig, Desigual, Mars, Asics, Ausonia&Arbora, Cadbury, Camper, Levi’s, Honda and Panrico. Prior to working at Starcom, Rita held positions at Havas in Madrid. Later she went on to form part of the founding team at Arena (Havas) servicing clients such as Banco Santander, Amena and Campofrio Food Group. When Arena won the Barcelona-based Seat/Vaesa account, Rita was part of the founding team of Arena in the Barcelona office and ledone of the Client Service teams. As client service director at Arena Barcelona, she also worked with Damm, Planeta and Yves Saint Laurent.
Mark became Chief Operating Officer for Publicis Media/Starcom CEO in July 2018. His previous role was Zenith’s CEO for three years. Mark has a wealth of experience across most advertising sectors. His particular interest in communications is the area of Marketing Effectiveness and ROI. Mark’s time outside of work is spent either walking his dog, to get peace and quiet away from the children, or training to run the UK’s slowest marathons.
Magda Kolenkiewicz is the general manager of Starcom Poland. In 2004, she joined Starcom and has been responsible for clients including Kraft Foods Polska, Deichmann, ZT Kruszwica and Raiffeisen Polbank.
Magda was co-author of campaigns that were awarded and recognized during key Polish and international advertisement competitions, i.e., Festival of Media, Effie Awards and Media Trendy. One of her major professional successes was managing Milka’s social campaign called “Milka. Together for the Tatras,” the most awarded campaign in the history of the Media Trendy competition.
In 2017, Magda was a jury member at the Festival of Media Global and is a current jury member of the Euro Effie Awards.
With international and local experience in the media industry, Birgit is keen to drive innovation and a challenger mindset throughout the agency. With more than 25 years of experience in the media industry, Birgit joined Publicis Groupe in 2015. In 2017, she moved from Zenith (where she held the COO position) into her current new role at Starcom and Mediavest |Spark. Before her time at Publicis Media she was with Group M, and, prior to that, she was with MediaCom in an international role as Managing Director, EMEA for P&G, based in London. She was also at MEC (CEO, Germany) and Carat where she spent 12 years, half of this time as managing director, during which she built and established the Berlin office.
In her role as Starcom CEO, Racha is responsible for driving performance marketing solutions that accelerate growth for our partners in an increasingly complex ecosystem. Passionate about building brands, Racha strongly believes in the power and role data plays in transforming businesses, driving brand relevance & inspiring creativity. Throughout her career Racha has worked closely with industry bodies to enhance & set measurement guidelines and principles. She is currently a board member at IAB MENA, and was a technical consultant with JIC for audience measurement in the region. Previously to leading Starcom, Racha was overseeing the Data Science Practice at Publicis Media, working on building capabilities & products that puts data, analytics & tech at the heart of driving growth for client’s business. Her 15 yrs of experience in media spans various sectors including travel, telecommunication, luxury goods, automotive and FMCGs, and comprises a plethora of collaborations with the industry’s key players to innovate & adopt tech led solutions.
Linda is today part of the billionaire Stadium's board, the retail success in sports and sportswear in Scandinavia. An assignment she received after a solid career that started with a total of twelve years in commercial radio, of which the last four of them as Nordic sales director. After that, Linda started her own consulting company when one of the assignments led in as CEO at the advertising agency. Finally, there were a total of six years in leading positions in the advertising agency world. In the autumn of 2015, she became a co-founder and launched United Influencers in Sweden an assignment she just finished after three years. With this background, she is also a coveted keynote speaker and business consultant, who has been employed by companies such as MatHem, the Board of Academy, SEB, SOS International and many more to educate on marketing in today's digital world of influencers and constant content consumption. She has deep knowledge of the digital marketing landscape and can provide a unique insight into topics such as people driven marketing, creating content with resilience, generating revenue through social media and more. Her knowledge has helped many brands and entrepreneurs take their business to the next level.
As CEO of Starcom Italy, Vita has deep knowledge of the market and an excellent reputation for transformative leadership in the industry. At Starcom, she has embraced the internal agency culture and recognizes the relevance of human experiences to drive business results. She supports her local team to develop strategic platforms that create intersections between what people love and what brands need, in benefit of clients’ business results. With more than 25 years of experience in the media industry, both on local and international business, Vita comes from Initiative, where she spent several years as general manager and most recently as CEO of Initiative Media Milano.
Marina Yadikina is the general manager of Starcom Russia and has been with the agency since 1996, starting as a media planner, then as AOR director, working with clients such as Coca-Cola Co., General Motors, Merloni and Procter & Gamble. Prior, she served as media director of Mediavest Moscow.
As the Global Chief Experience Officer, Bohb Blair’s passion lies at the intersection of technology and ideas, where the next-generation strategy and design combine to create experiences that meaningfully connect consumers to our clients’ brands. He is a deeply creative mind and conceptual thinker who most recently served as lead for the Starcom USA Experience Design practice. Prior, Bohb led the Invention group at Mindshare Chicago. Under his direction, the team mixed creative planning and services to create award-winning media campaigns for clients like Huggies, Cottonelle, BP, Poise and Kotex. Bohb has previously worked as a creative lead at experiential agency Legacy, a conceptor at Draft Worldwide and in entertainment marketing with KBA.
For more than 15 years, Courtney has helped corporations, associations and non-profit organizations differentiate and elevate their brands through effective, measurable and integrated strategic communications programs. In her role at Starcom, Courtney is responsible for advancing the agency’s global communications strategy and driving positive brand reputation through a wide range of internal and external brand marketing and communications initiatives. She is also a key member of Publicis Media’s Global Communications Practice where she works closely with fellow agency brands and global market leadership to ensure the Starcom story is told in a unified and cohesive way to key stakeholders around the world. Previously, Courtney spent 12 years at Reputation Partners, LLC, an integrated communications firm based in Chicago, most recently serving as the firm’s Senior Vice President & Director of Digital Strategies. She also held communications positions at Solomon McCown & Company and the Consulate General of Israel to New England. Courtney is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communications.
In partnership with local markets and global client leadership, Kathy Kline drives our overall strategic capabilities, integrating human understanding with the power of data-driven insights to define our best-in-class approach to strategy development. Additionally, Kathy oversees Starcom Worldwide's product excellence, running an active Global Product Committee dedicated to building capability, assessing and improving our world-class approach to product. Previously, Kathy served as Starcom USA's head of Integrated Insights, leading the agency’s human intelligence discipline.
Kelly Kokonas is masterful at accelerating clients’ business opportunities via the power of insights and analytics. Having invested more than 17 years of her career at Starcom Worldwide, Kelly’s expertise spans media resources, human experience strategy and data and analytics. In her role, she partners with client leadership around the globe to test hypotheses on growth drivers, put them into action and guide innovative measurement solutions, ensuring Starcom’s leadership in this key space.
Alison Moriarty is a talented human resources executive with more than 20 years of experience building strategic partnerships and leading organizations through business transformation. With a passion for improving overall business effectiveness by securing, motivating and fostering high-performance talent, as Global Culture Champion; Chief Talent Officer for Starcom US, Alison has spent the past five years building the Starcom brand, with a focus on the U.S. market. Prior to Starcom, Alison was the VP of Human Resources at Ipsos, serving as a member of the Ipsos ASI Global Management Team. She also launched her own HR consulting practice, guiding business leaders to improve productivity in times of strategic growth or transition.
As Starcom Worldwide’s Global Interdependency Lead, Andrea Pohlman supports the Global Brand President strategically and operationally to advance key agency initiatives, enabling strong connectivity between Starcom markets, global clients, Publicis Media brands and practices. She also drives global prospecting efforts to deliver new client growth, and assists the Global Product Acceleration Team in scaling best-in-class work across the Starcom network. Previously, Andrea was an integral member of the Starcom USA Growth team, applying data, insights and technology to design innovative client solutions and grow business in Starcom’s largest market globally.
